Return & Refund Policy

Across Town Transport LLC specializes in precision logistics and specialized freight. Given the nature of our operations, all services are subject to the following policy:

  • Cancellations: To ensure optimal operational efficiency, any service cancellation occurring after Scheduling but prior to Dispatched will incur a $50.00 Standard Cancellation Fee.
  • Finality: Once a shipment has been Dispatched or a Logistics Unit has arrived at the designated pick-up location, a $75.00 Logistics Fee will be applied. Upon the signing of the Bill of Lading (BOL), all associated service fees become non-refundable and non-transferable.

We are dedicated to upholding the efficiency of our Preferred Carrier Network and ensure the highest standard of service for all scheduled freight.

Services Post-Booking

Upon submission of your initial request, Across Town Transport LLC implements a structured logistics workflow designed to ensure precise handling of your cargo:

  • Logistics Review: A dedicated Logistics Delegate will meticulously review your pick-up and delivery specifications to optimize routing and equipment allocation.
  • Official Freight Quotation: You will be provided with a formal quotation, calculated based on your specific cargo dimensions and transportation distance. All pricing for specialized handling or oversized items will be confirmed at this juncture.
  • Scheduling & Dispatch: Following your approval of the quotation and the finalization of payment arrangements, your service will transition to a Scheduled status and be assigned to a Logistics Unit for Dispatch.
  • Real-Time Coordination: Your assigned Delegate will serve as your primary point of contact for any necessary adjustments or real-time updates until the Bill of Lading (BOL) is signed at the final destination.

Precision Care & Liability

Across Town Transport LLC is dedicated to providing exceptional transportation solutions for both residential and commercial cargo. We handle every shipment with the utmost precision and care; however, to ensure the comprehensive safety of your goods, the following liability standards are in effect:

  • Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for ensuring that all bulky and oversized items are appropriately packed, crated, or secured prior to the arrival of our Logistics Unit. We cannot be held liable for damages resulting from inadequate packaging or for fragile items not disclosed during the Freight Quotation process.
  • Loading & Unloading: While our Fleet is fully equipped for transportation, clients are required to ensure clear and unobstructed access to designated pick-up and delivery locations. Any specialized equipment necessary for loading or unloading (e.g., forklifts or pallet jacks) must be arranged and communicated in advance.
  • Claim Protocol: In the infrequent event of damage, a claim must be formally submitted to your assigned Logistics Delegate within 24 hours of delivery. Claims submitted beyond this timeframe or after the Bill of Lading (BOL) has been signed will not be considered.
